“Alexandra” was first hinted in late January of 2019, when the band began touring again. Nathan Stocker talked to Soundblab about his favorite song he’s written and he said this:

They’re all kind of like our children so it’s hard to pick and choose. Usually, the songs we release are the ones that fit best with the album. But the ones we don’t release and haven’t found a place for yet are very special. “Alexandra” was a banger, so good, and it has yet to be released because it didn’t make the cut. So something unreleased I guess.
