“Baby” is a track that will sound familiar to Logic fans, as the drum pattern is eerily reminiscent of his 2018 track, “Warm It Up.”

Logic actually talked about this track in an interview with HardKnockTV, explaining that the drum pattern, written originally for this song, inspired “Warm It Up.”

The chorus of this track is a spin off of Biz Markie’s 1989 single, “Just a Friend,” and Logic uses the track as an attempt to persuade a girl that only wants to be friends.
