Christopher Tracy’s Parade

Prince and the Revolution

“Christopher Tracy’s Parade” is the introduction to Prince and the Revolution’s Parade, an album that doubles as the soundtrack to Prince’s 1986 film Under The Cherry Moon.

In the film, Prince plays Christopher Tracy, who makes up one half of a con-artist outfit alongside his brother Tricky. The track name therefore incorporates two titles – the name of his character, and the name of the album itself.
