Comments on Jack White and TMZ to Rolling Stone magazine
The Black Keys (Ft. Jack White, Patrick Carney, Rolling Stone, Thirty Mile Zone & The White Stripes)
In July 2013, Jack White sent an e-mail to ex-wife Karen Elson regarding her recent attempt at filing a restraining order against the singer. The e-mails contained offhand jabs at The Black Keys' guitarist, Dan Auerbach.
After the better part of a year, The Black Keys finally acknowledged and responded to these comments, in a short interview for Rolling Stone magazine. Auerbach, for his part, was largely silent on the matter, but firecracker drummer Patrick Carney took the opportunity to get some #ShotsFired at White and common enemy TMZ, who leaked the e-mails in the first place.
