96 Tears [Four Horsemen] (Live At CBGB’s)

Suicide

This song was performed live on May 25, 1978 at CBGB’s in New York City, and is seemingly an early version of the song “Radiation,” which Suicide released as a single the following year.

This recording was originally titled “Four Horsemen” when it was first released on the live album Zero Hour. However, when this song was added to the reissue of Suicide’s debut album, it was mistakenly identified as “96 Tears.” “96 Tears” is a song originally by the garage rock band ? & The Mysterians which Suicide frequently covered at their live shows. Their real cover of 96 Tears can be heard on other live albums by Suicide, such as the above-mentioned Zero Hour, or the box set Live 1977-1978.
