“A Little Closer” is part of the soundtrack of the Netflix movie “The Perfect Date”, starring Noah Centineo, Laura Marano and Camila Mendes.

Producers reached out to Laura asking her to write a song for the movie; she ended up writing “A Little Closer” and also proposing the song “Lie To Me”, from her debut EP.
