“GONE, GONE / THANK YOU” is the tenth song on IGOR, and follows the multi-part structure that all of his tenth tracks have followed since Bastard.

The chorus of the “GONE, GONE” samples “Hey Girl” by Cullen Omori. “THANK YOU” heavily interpolates the lyrics and melody from “Fragile” by Tatsuro Yamashita, an influential city pop artist from Japan.

“GONE, GONE” features Tyler thinking about losing his love for his partner that has been discussed throughout the album, while “THANK YOU” features Tyler thanking his partner for their love.
