This is the ‘remake’ of the South Korean rock band Butterfly Effect’s single ‘First Love’. The original song was released in 2003, and has become the band’s one and only successful single to date.

WINNER performed the remake version in the 2018 reality show ‘Two Yoo Project: Sugarman (season 2)’. New music arrangement by Airplay, and additional rap verses by Mino & Hoony, the K-pop rock classic was turned into a pop song, with more R&B and electro sounds.

Not until 2019 did YG Entertainment release the song. The label was known to delay the release, because at the time WINNER performed this, they were still promoting their sophomore album “Everyd4y”.
