2nd Childhood

2nd Childhood

SWAVAY

The title of this track and theme, are inspired from the track called “2nd Childhood” from Nas’ 5th studio album, Stillmatic.

On Nas’ track he reminisces about his past and the people that couldn’t get over their own childhood.

On SwaVay’s version, the beginning of the first verse is him rapping about how he has a son to look after and his sons mother is trying to convince him to stop chasing his dream of being a rapper at 27 years old as he is grown up.

The hook from this song interpolates Jay-Z’s hook from his song titled “Regrets” of his debut album Reasonable Doubt.
