“Anywhere you go” shows a more emotional and lonely side of Tove, who wants someone to be with her at the highs and lows. The song closes the fourteen tracks album “Sunshine Kitty”.

The album mostly revolves around Lo’s short term flings, problematic relationships, and romantic paranoia. However, in the final track of the album, Lo finally admits that she just wants to fall purely in love with someone and be around them all the time without carrying any worries or doubting the relationship.

In a live interview for Build, she revealed that originally the song would be offered to other artists but realized that it was very personal and with melancholy and dark production, which made her keep it as her own.
