“SPEEDBOAT” is the second single for Denzel Curry’s May 2019 fourth studio album ZUU. On the song, Denzel discusses topics such as his exorbitant wealth and his dangerous lifestyle. Denzel vows to continue on fighting in life, even in the face of tragic events like the death of his close friend XXXTENTACION, who was shot in Florida almost one year before the release of the song.

The song was released alongside an accompanying animated music video, and was complemented a few months later by the release of a UK remix and of an official music video inspired by an action movie meeting the topics addressed throughout the song.
