“Blow The Whistle” is the first single from Too $hort’s 16th album, Blow the Whistle.

As explained by Too $hort himself:

It’s a sports metaphor. I’m just saying ‘blow the whistle’ on the people who can’t fucking hang. “You’re doing too much, you’re in the penalty box,” for people who aren’t doing it right. I was just playing on the sports metaphor and talking a little shit and doing the Too $hort spin on the subject.
