“The End Begins” is the intro to Korn’s thirteenth studio album, The Nothing. It starts with the sound of bagpipes, which can be compared to the introduction of another Korn album, Issues.

The lyrics are referencing to the death of Deven Davis, the wife of Jonathan Davis, Korn’s singer. Devon died to drug issues in August 2018.
