“BREAKFAST” explores themes of strength and vulnerability. The title of the song was chosen because it brought back memories to the moment when they wrote it during their first songwriting session at an Airbnb in California (where the album was also written). The demo was called “Breakfast”.

It is the fourth single from half•alive’s debut album Now, Not Yet. They first played it on June 22, 2019, at the Firefly Music Festival. The song, along with the rest of the album, made its official premiere on August 9th, 2019.
