Initially, Father had posted a video containing the full song to his Twitter (@father) on June 16th, 2019, with an illustration he drew himself. The tweet mentioned the track was from his forthcoming album ‘Hu$band’, which he announced the completion of on his Twitter on July 2nd, 2019.

The song was fully released by his label, Awful Records, to all streaming platforms on August 14th. This release was accompanied by a music video masterfully shot by PØLYGØN.
