Everyone But You

Everyone But You

The Young Veins

“Everyone But You” is a song about missing a girl who is far away, whether this is mentally or physically, and wishing for love.

For the Young Veins' Summer Sessions live performance with Last.fm, Jon Walker explained how the song came about:

We were in Asia in a hotel room during that. That was probably the farthest we’d been away from home for the longest amount of time, because we had gone to Australia, and went to South East Asia, and we did, you know, all these different… flying to every single show because, you know, you can’t travel any other way. And we were just in a hotel room and I remember we hadn’t eaten in, like, a day and a half. We had literally nothing else to do except play music, and we wrote that song.
