In “Asuna 哀傷,” Mackned explores how everyone is fundamentally the same, and how all have similar same chances in life, but how he is somehow succeeding just by staying true to who he is. Mackned expresses that he is not different to anyone else who might be failing and how one should stay true to their self in order to succeed.

This song masterfully uses a sample from the Japanese anime show “Sword Art Online”, as well as references to video games to create an atmosphere of loss and confusion in superiority – much like what can be seen in the show and in the majority of online video games.
