“Laser Lights” is the third track off of Pony, Rex’s third album. It follows a lonesome feeling, which Rex displays by the memories he mentions. Laser Lights communicates how Rex’s struggles may affect him, or leave him feeling alone and unwell. The song also mentions Thea, his longterm ex-girlfriend, who has inspired many of his songs.
