“Chicken Noodle Soup” is a collaboration between Latin-American artist Becky G and j-hope, member of Korean boy group BTS, interpolating a mutual “favorite childhood song”. Naver reports it charted #1 in 69 countries on Apple Music upon release.

It interpolates the classic 2006 hit song “Chicken Noodle Soup” by Webstar and Young B (feat. AG aka The Voice of Harlem). j-hope says the song’s accompanying dance is one of the first songs that helped him realize his passion for it.

The song is a celebration of global diversity and culture, showing pride in where they came from. They rap and sing about their homes and how they got to be where they are now. In this track, they bring three languages together. They both connect on a classic African-American hip-hop song.
