“니가 부르는 나의 이름 (You Calling My Name)” deviates from the standard GOT7 have maintained over the years – instead of hard hitting and intense beats or upbeat pop, the track has a sultry R&B vibe that they haven’t explored in a title track before. The song has a slow build up, where synths and light percussion intermingle with funky bass lines, delicate falsettos and guitar hooks.

The leader of GOT7, JB (under the producer alias Defsoul), co-wrote the lyrics. The song is an ode to GOT7’s fans, IGOT7 (more affectionately known as ahgase, meaning baby birds in Korean). The lyrics focus on the relationship between GOT7 and their fans, where they are asking fans to call out GOT7’s name in order for them to have meaning and purpose, as sung by JB:
