On the intro to A Love Letter to You 4, Trippie Redd sings a slow-moving track about his past relationship with Coi Leray.

Singing about how it all started too quick, Trippie wishes they never got together. He also expands on their breakup and the bad times they had together.

Within the deluxe of A Love Letter to You 4, Trippie released the sequel to this track – “Koi“ – playing off of Leray’s name.

Additionally, Trippie placed “Koi“ as the seventh track off of the deluxe, making “Leray“ the eighth. This cleverly leads to these tracks reading chronologically as “Koi Leray.“
