745 sticky (Injury Reserve Remix)

745 sticky (Injury Reserve Remix)

100 gecs

The second song released for the 1000 gecs all-star remix album 1000 gecs & the tree of clues following A. G. Cooks remix to money machine. This track is a remix by the alternative hip hop trio Injury Reserve to 745 sticky from 1000 gecs. The song showcases Injury Reserve’s rapper Ritchie Wit A T rapping over 100 gecs 745 sticky instrumental with slights of additional production from Injury Reserves in house producer Parker Corey who delivers distortion to this version of the song from the snippets on the choruses on the original 745 sticky performed by Dylan Brady and Laura Les. The final member Steppa Groggs does not seem to make an appearance on the track.

The lyrics follow along with a motif that Injury Reserve has become known for of using braggadocios raps about money and material things with cheeky social commentary about rappers who feel the need to rap about this stuff.

Injury Reserve has collaborated with a member of 100 gecs prior to this, on their [major label debut], the track just before the closing track titled New Hawaii features Dylan Brady vocals being ran through a vocoder, as well as production assisstance from Dylan. Dylan also did production assistance on the experimental instrumental for their song Jailbreak The Tesla which ended up being the second single released for Injury Reserve’s album.
