On October 25th 2014, the day following his 28th birthday, Drizzy released the full version of “6 God,” along with “How Bout Now” and “Heat of the Moment,” dropping the songs early due to a hack-attack. The track was later included on If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. The track famously samples “Haunted Chase” from Donkey Kong Country 2’s soundtrack, with the addition of a set of hats and booming basses.
