“LIKE I WANT YOU” is GIVĒON’s first lead single teasing the release of his debut album TAKE TIME. Stuck and reminiscing on what was, GIVĒON pours out his soul in hopes that his love interest will come back to him. Afraid that that the person has already moved on, he hides his true feelings in a failed attempt to do the same. As stated in interviews, the song was written in the perspective of a close friend rather than in a personal position.
