In “Feel It Twice” Camila sympathizes with an old flame who has finally realized he has feelings for her. The topic of realizing feelings too late is also touched on in album-mate “Should’ve Said It.” Both tracks are about the same person, penned during the first week of the Romance sessions.

Camila explained the song’s content:

This person had been my friend and we were really, really close and when he confessed that he had feelings for me, things kind of got awkward because we weren’t together. I felt like I was hurting him and I felt weird because it felt like we were kind of drifting away as friends.
