The demo version of 4AM was recorded on May 13, 2018 according to the leaked file’s name (4am Vox May.13.18.aif). It was leaked in November 2018 along with two mixes of a track called “Death Angels” and a track called “Cryptid” which would later become Darkseid on the final version of Miss Anthropocene.

The track contains more clear vocals and less high pitched vocals. It’s also a fair bit longer than the final version of 4AM, containing a bridge and post chorus that was not included in the final version.

Notably the “Guess it’s just my rotten luck” lyric is deleted from the final version of the song – instead it appears in the track Delete Forever on the final version of Miss Anthropocene.
