“Dear Future Husband” is a follow-up to Meghan Trainor breakout hit “All About That Bass”.
Another retro-flavored hit, she lets out a list of demands she wants her hypothetical spouse to fulfill. She mostly plays the role of the pampered wife, but she lets the act slip a couple of times.
It was debut at live shows, but the studio version made her debut EP Title.
The song has received some critique for sounding strikingly similar to Olly Murs' track “Dance With Me Tonight.”
