Since making their return with their 2014 album Manslaughter, Body Count have included a cover of an iconic metal anthem on each subsequent release. For 2020’s Carnivore, the band chose to cover speed metal legends Motorhead’s song “Ace of Spades” from the band’s 1980 album of the same name, as a tribute to frontman Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister, who passed away in December 2015 two days after being diagnosed with prostate cancer.
