Ab-Soul is given the majority of the song to clarify the subjects and themes discussed by Kendrick Lamar throughout the album (Keisha, Tammy, ‘80s babies of the Ronald Reagan Era, living well etc) and adds some input of his own.

Kendrick Lamar uses this outro produced by Terrace Martin to simply state that all of what he said throughout this album is just his opinion. Maybe you do or don’t believe his morals and beliefs, but at least you heard his beliefs and felt the message he was trying to share with the rest of the world. He feels it is more important for you to simply listen and form opinions of your own rather than listen to him and conform to his beliefs. We are all just humans trying to find our form of the real truth in this society that tries to suppress us.

Kendrick Lamar says that he finds the truth through the music he writes, composes and raps.
