“Free PDE” is an unreleased track recorded during production of Playboi Carti’s album Whole Lotta Red. It is named after PDE, a group known for its affiliation with Young Nudy.

It is an alternate version of “Bouldercrest.” Its vocals were recorded in 2018 but it was re-mixed on February 12, 2019, according to the filename. The track was leaked on January 19, 2020.

Compared to “Bouldercrest,” this version has more background vocals by Carti in the intro and outro, does not have the “what?” background vocals and the “yeah” before “body kits” in the first verse, and has Carti saying “on that Piru” in the chorus instead of “‘cause I got to.”
