This song borrows from Chapter 41- Moby Dick, and Chapters 133 & 134, respectfully The Chase – First Day and The Chase – Second Day. Interestingly most of the language is borrowed from the final confrontations.
It is sung hauntingly, with a lot of reverb and echo between the two parts. It is reiterated at the end of the musical.
