“Steal My Girl”, was the lead single off the fourth album of One Direction, Four. The song was released on September 29, 2014, although it was leaked a day before. “Steal My Girl” has peaked at #3 on UK Singles and at #13 on Billboard Hot 100 and it has been certified Platinum in the UK and Gold in the US.

The track arose some controversy when Chad Gilbert, New Found Glory’s guitarrist, and Hayley Williams, his girlfriend at the time, accused 1D of ripping off NFG’s 2006 song “It’s Not Your Fault”.
