In addition, he tagged Brooklyn rapper Fivio Foreign to the video as well, indicating that he was featured as well. A day later, another snippet circulated around online, featuring some vocals from Sosa Geek himself.
On April 7, 2020, the song was previewed by Drake on Instagram Live and on April 16, 2020, the song was teased again in the promotional video for “Pain 1993” on the Born From Pain Twitter account.
“Demons” revisits the UK drill-inspired flow and cadence that Drake has also used in July 2018’s “Behind Barz” and December 2019’s “War.”
