“Dreams Come True” is a mid-tempo R&B ballad song with groovy vocals and a hopeful message that incites listeners to believe in themselves and have a positive outlook on life.

On January 27th, a surprise track video of the song was pre-released as a gift for the fans to honor #NCT127DAY (1.27) and to kick-start the promotions of their second full-length album Neo Zone. It was also the first time member Jungwoo joined the group’s activities after going on an indefinite hiatus in August of 2019 because of undisclosed health issues.

In 2021, South Korean streaming platform MelOn announced “Dreams Come True” was the second song with the most surge of listeners during New Year’s Day, due to the Korean tradition of streaming songs with lyricism related to their New Year wishes.
