G Herbo recruits frequent collaborators Lil Uzi Vert, Chance the Rapper and Juice WRLD for the title track of his February 2020 album PTSD. The song marks Juice’s second posthumous release, following his January 2020 song with Eminem: “Godzilla“. The PTSD album artwork features a tribute to many of Herbo’s deceased friends, including Juice WRLD, who can be spotted towards the middle area.

“PTSD” details the four artists' experiences with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, a mental health condition that develops in some people who have experienced a shocking event. G Herbo opened up about his experience with the disorder for Hip Hop DX:

[Seeing a therapist] was probably my first introduction to me embracing my PTSD. We’re so immune to a lot of this stuff that goes on in the inner city with like violence, going to jail and all that kind of shit, that we don’t know that we suffer from these mental health issues. I’m a product of that. I seen my first murder at nine years old.

It’s worth noting that G Herbo, Lil Uzi and Chance have previously appeared together on Herbo’s February 2018 song “Everything (Remix)“. Juice has also collaborated multiple times before with G Herbo, such as on the 2018 track “Honestly”.
