The Innocent

The Innocent

AURORA

“The Innocent”, starting with an upbeat piano rift, is arguably the most different track on the album.

The song itself is about sexualizing innocent things, like our bodies. The greek god it was inspired by is Eros, (otherwise known as Cupid), the God of carnal love.

On her Spotify Storyline for the song, AURORA said:

Perfection scares me. Our obsession with it scares me even more. That is why I relate to the greek gods. Because they are flawed. And I love the idea of people worshipping something flawed. We are not perfect. And we never will be. And that is quite wonderful.
