Being the polar opposite of “Training Wheels” and/or “Soap” in tone, “Band-Aid” (aka “Blue Knees”) is a song about using a boy as a “band-aid”, which is used as a metaphor for a rebound, in order to get over her ex. While the guy/guys she is hooking up with seem to want more than sex, Melanie/Crybaby makes it clear that she does not harbor feelings for him/them. Band-Aid was originally going to be used for the Crybaby album but was scrapped for unknown reasons and eventually leaked March 19, 2017. It is likely that if Band-Aid did make it onto Crybaby, it would go after Pity Party, but could also potentially have gone in between Carousel and Alphabet Boy.
