Beside You is an upbeat summer anthem about a deep love between two people reiterating throughout the song, “It’s heaven right beside you.”

Georgia Ku features on the vocals whilst Captain Cuts and Matoma worked on the music. In an Instagram Live listening party hosted by Matoma on release day he spoke about the production of the song:

We had a couple versions like going in-between me and the Captain Cuts guys before we actually landed on this version and I feel so good about it.
