Released as a part of the deluxe version of AS GOOD AS DEAD, “ACAB” sees Zilla link up with contemporary artist Nascar Aloe for a song whose subject matter essentially boils down to getting back at the police. It delivers an anarchistic message from the dissidents subjected to political persecution and police brutality.

“ACAB” became a protest song and thus received a boost in popularity during the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests sparked primarily by the death of George Floyd—an African-American man who was murdered by Minneapolis police in May 2020. It can be easy to forget that the song was not actually written in response to these events.
