“A Letter to My Younger Self” acts as the title track for Quinn XCII’s third studio album and enlists fellow Visionary Music Group signee Logic.

Quinn uses this track as a motivational tool, saying it’s important to remain present and focus on yourself, while Logic references aspects of his prior career and personal life as he focuses on what is yet to come.

The track was first officially teased on Quinn’s Instagram and TikTok on 21 May 2020, which hinted at “calling in a friend for the next single.” The song’s title and release date was confirmed a day later.
