“Unity” is about people coming together and finding the best in each other, rather than focusing on the worst, for the better of the human species. The song was the second single released from Amaryllis and peaked at #1 on Billboard’s U.S. Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks.

In this track-by-track breakdown Brent said the following about “Unity”:

“Unity”, I think, is a song about the rising up of a community. In this case, in this scenario, the community is the whole world. I think that it’s time everyone really understands that we’re all in this together, this thing that we call life. Instead of trying to find what’s wrong with each other, understanding and appreciating what’s right with everybody. Far be it from me to tell anyone that it’s gonna be rainbows and flowers all the time. Of course there’s gonna struggles, of course there’s gonna be lots of issues that we’re gonna face as a society, and as a species for that matter. But it’s about unifying, thus the name “Unity”, everyone together and banding together to find compromises in all of the situations that we encounter in life and finding the love in each other instead of focusing on the hate.
