A solo portion of the song was first teased on Trippie’s Instagram on August 13, 2020. The post’s caption revealed that the song was meant for Trippie’s fifth album TRIP AT KNIGHT, and eventually appeared in the tracklist one year later under the name “Captain Crunch”.
