“Lose” is an emotional piano ballad which tells the story of NIKI’s bumpy relationship whom she wishes to be with, the Moon – even without any material love presented between them:

It is the third single from NIKI’s debut full-length album MOONCHILD and gained much attention after a “Duet Challenge” with NIKI is popularized on TikTok.

The song was first teased by the artist in an Instagram post on August 12, 2020, and follows previous singles “Switchblade” and “Selene,” serving also as PHASE 2 of the MOONCHILD saga.
