“Expensive” (not be confused with the 2016 song of the same name) is a song by Ayesha Erotica, performed under the stage name “Karrujah Jones” and featuring vocals from Chrisfferent. It was released to Chrisfferent’s SoundCloud page on October 20th, 2014.

The track resurfaced under the fan-given name “Hoes” in December 2019, and gradually gained attention, sparking controversy among fans due to Ayesha’s usage of the N-word in its lyrics. In response to the controversy, Ayesha’s client That Kid took to Twitter and claimed that the vocals in the song were performed by an impersonator, and not Ayesha herself.

However, this claim can be easily disproven by the fact that Ayesha had been using the alias “Karrujah Jones” as early as 2012, and had continued to do so until April 2015 when she changed her Twitter username from @karrujah to @AyeshaErotica.
