This record is a vibe! I’m very proud of the direction we took it in. «Options» is about an incredible woman who’s been down with me from the very beginning and I wanna show her that I notice, and I’m not holding back on my feelings for her, spending time with her and also balling out with her.
It’s not easy meeting girls as an artist, music always comes first and it’s a full-time job whether it’s being in the studio til early in the morning or all the traveling. So I’m applauding the patience and commitment to being with someone like me. I’m saying I notice and because she’s shown so much loyalty she gets «Options» wherever she goes.
