Kanye first teased this track as “This Is The Glory” on September 16, 2020, seemingly tweeting out the file name from his PC in the midst of his rant against Universal Music and the signing of unfair contracts not granting him ownership of the mastered versions of his songs. The tweet also indicated that the song was finished on July 14, 2020.
The song wouldn’t resurface until August 5, 2021, when it was previewed in a Beats commercial starring American sprinter Sha'Carri Richardson. The video announced the involvement of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg as well as the August 6 release date of Donda.

While the campaign serves as an additional promo in the lead up to Kanye’s highly anticipated album, this spot is the only vehicle to share ‘Glory’ as there is no immediate date to release the song.
