On January 27, 2021, Lil Gotit played a snippet of the song on Instagram Live. Its title was then revealed through a post from NAV, teasing lines of the chorus, on February 16, 2021. Finally, Lil Gotit confirmed its release date in a post on April 13, 2021.

The official music video for the song premiered one day after the song, April 22, 2021.
