“Blinded By The Lights” is the fourth track off of The Streets' 2004 album A Grand Don’t Come For Free.

The album is a rap opera, telling a story of the sudden mysterious loss of “a grand” (£1000), and relationships with character Simone and Dan.

The song explains a strange night in the club, where the character takes ecstasy pills while waiting for Simone and Dan to show up.
