“A New Hope” is Mark Hoppus' ode to the beautiful and legendary Princess Leia Organa from the Star Wars franchise, famously portrayed by the late actress Carrie Fisher who passed away on Dec. 27th, 2016. The song’s title comes from the first installment in the film series, Episode IV – A New Hope.
