On the long awaited track “Modern Day”, the Migos reunite with frequent collaborator and hit-producer Murda Beatz for a hard-hitting and bar-heavy record.

This song was first teased by Quavo in an Instagram post on October 5, 2020, which gave fans a sneak peak of the music video and the beginning of the song. Offset later previewed his verse on March 20, 2021, in an Instagram post of his own, only a day after Saweetie and Quavo had both revealed to the public they had broken up as a couple. Offset’s verse began trending online in mere hours and as a result successfully took away some of the online attention from Quavo’s breakup situation. The music video for the song was subsequently released on June 11, 2021, the same day as the album’s release.
